What customers say?

“ What a treasure this place is! We love to find great places that are off the beaten path to eat when we are out on our motorcycles. The Alma Grill was one of my favorites. The food was spectacular. I have no idea how they had tomatoes that actually tasted like tomatoes this time of year in New Mexico, but they did. I ordered a BLT.....the bacon was fantastic as well. My husband got a burrito and loved it. The service took a minute as they were busy, and there was only one server. The wait made the experience even better. I am still smiling from my experience at the Alma Grill! ”

“ It is an excellent representation of the American classic, the mom's home cooking, sit down, and have some cobbler establishment—delicious food. Service was terrific, and the young lady was attentive and thorough. We highly recommend the preserves as well! After licking our plates clean, we realized this was one of the better breakfasts we have had at a restaurant in the past few years. We visited the 28th of June this year and will visit again! Thank you ”

“ We brought the famlily for their Sunday special. We were greeted, welcomed, and accomdated - all with a smile. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was lively mix of locals and travellers. The food, itself, was delicious! 2 of our party ordered the weekend special (chicken fried steak, gravy, hashbrowns, mashed taters, and fresh diced green chile with a side of biscuits and white gravy), 1 member ordered the patty melt, while I ordered the combination plate (chicken taco, green cheese enchilada, red tamale, pinto beans, and rice. I added a side of diced chile, as well, and that REALLY brought the plate together. The chips for the chips and salsa were hot, the salsa had a good flavor but lacked a punch. Overall, I was impressed with the experience. I can't wait to eat here again! ”

“ Fresh, hot, homemade food. My green sauce tamales were steaming hot and delicious! The blackberry cobbler was excellent. This place nails it! ”

“ Nice stop along the way travelling. The green Chile burger hit the spot. I got it with sweet potato fries. Wife had the breakfast burrito. Taste was good but recommended get some sauce with it like BBQ sauce. Service was good. We will eat here again. If you need grocery or gas then the alma store adjoined makes this an all in one stop. Closes at 3 is the only downer. I believe they are also closed on Thursday as well. ”

“ We were wowed as soon as we walked into this clean and welcoming restaurant. Our server, Britany, greeted us with a smile and cleaned up a table for us immediately. There were many great options available from burgers, sandwiches to mexican dishes. We ordered cheeseburgers with crinkle fries. Absolutely fresh and delicious. The cook even took a few seconds to bring out the condiments while the server brought our plates. Not a crumb was left on our plates. We ordered soft serve cones for dessert. Yummy! Cooled us off from the 90 degree heat. My husband had a bottled coke and I had an ice cold tea. Throughout our dining experience, our server never stopped smiling or checking up on us, and she was extremely busy. I am so happy our camping friend recommended this place. Hands down, the best! ”

“ What a beautiful little place to have lunch. We came at peak time and had one of the last tables. Our waitress was very friendly. Food came fast was tasty and not expensive. Great place to meet locals. ”

“ Great little place to visit when you’re traveling this way. We needed to use the restrooms and inside they have so many delicious snacks. We all need snacks when driving right? They have drinks, maps, and souvenirs also! Need gas? They have it! This is a cute little store so stop in. ”
